Patient Information

  • Patient rights
    1. Be treated with respect, consideration, compassion and dignity, in a safe and clean environment regardless of your age, gender, race, origin, religion, sexual orientation or disabilities
    2. Full protection of your privacy, dignity and confidentiality pertaining to your care discussions, examinations, and treatments
    3. A clear and understandable explanation by your doctor about your diagnosis, as well as the benefits and risks of each treatment, expected outcome and change in medical condition
    4. Protection from physical abuse and neglect
    5. Receive information from the hospital regarding the expected cost of treatment and payment policies
    6. Request for a copy of your medical records as per protocol
  • Patient responsibilities
    1. Providing complete and accurate information, including your full name, address, telephone number, date of birth, particulars of next-of-kin and insurance company/ TPA/ employer, past illness, and medication details wherever required
    2. Keeping appointments, being on time for appointments, and calling your doctor / hospital if you cannot adhere to the appointment timing
    3. Actively participating in your treatment plan and keeping your doctors and nurses informed about the effectiveness or recovery of your treatment
    4. Ensuring safety of your valuables. (We would advise you to leave your valuables at home and only bring necessary items.)
    5. Treating all hospital staff, other patients and visitors with courtesy and respect
    6. Abiding by the hospital rules and safety regulations.
    7. Understanding all instructions before signing the consent forms

Visitors Information

  • Visiting Hours:
    Wards/ floors:         11:00am to 12:00 pm or 5:00pm to 6:00 pm
    ICU:         11:00am to 12:00 pm or 5:00pm to 6:00 pm
    General room- 1 attendant allowed only. Double & Single room- 1 attendant & 1 visitor only. ICU- 1 attendant per ICU will be allowed to stay in the hospital premises in patient waiting lounge.
  • Other Guidelines for Visitors
    1. Visits by children under the age of 12 are not allowed on patient floors. This is to protect children from catching any infection
    2. Sanities hands before and after visiting.
    3. Use of mobile phones is prohibited where critical medical equipment and patient monitoring systems are in operation. Please read and follow all posted signs about the usage of cell phones, only in approved areas. If you use your cell phone in approved areas, please speak in a soft tone so that other patients are not disturbed
    4. Visitors are expected to wear/display their passes within the hospital premises. In case of loss of the pass, you may get in touch with the IP Front Desk located at the main entrance of the hospital
    5. Carrying flowers while visiting patients is not allowed
    6. Do not bring outside eatables inside the hospital premises
    7. Smoking, Spitting, Chewing of Pan and tobacco within the premises is strictly prohibited.
    8. Do not leave any valuables in the patient's room. Hospital shall not be responsible for the loss of any such personal belongings.

  • Rooms: At Aakash Healthcare we have the following room categories:
    1. Suite: A Suite at Aakash Healthcare has an attached living room for attendants and visitors with a separate washroom, Wi-Fi Connectivity, a mini refrigerator, a television set, a microwave, a music player, safe locker and a bed side locker, dedicated nursing staff, a housekeeper, and in room dining facility for the attendant.
    2. Deluxe: A deluxe room at Aakash Healthcare has an attendant bed, Wi-Fi Connectivity, a mini refrigerator, a television set, safe locker and a bed side locker, in room dining facility for the attendant and dedicated nursing staff for the room.
    3. Single Room: A single room at Aakash Healthcare has an attendant bed, Wi-Fi connectivity, a mini refrigerator, a television set, a bed side locker, and an in room dining facility for the attendant.
    4. Twin Sharing: Twin sharing rooms at Aakash Healthcare has an attendant bed, a television set and a bed side locker to keep your essentials.
    5. Multi Bed Room: A Multi bed room at Aakash healthcare has attendant chairs and a bed side locker to keep your essentials.
  • Cafeteria: The Coffee Beans & Tea Leaves cafeteria at Aakash Healthcare is open all day and night, with an assorted range of food and beverage options to choose from. It is located at the ground floor, and is open to employees and visitors.
    We also have a healthy food corner setup by Pappa Curry open from 8:00am to 9:00 pm.
  • Laundry Services: Laundry services are provided for attendants at their behest.

  • Internet Access: The entire facility is Wi-Fi enabled.
